If you are planning to take a Cambridge English Exam in Las Palmas, whether it’s A2, B1, B2 or C1, we are here to help you. At Nika Teacher, we have the knowledge, experience and resources to ease you through the process with amazing success! 🏆
If you are new to Nika Teacher, we start with a Language Hour, this usually consists of some questions, to test your speaking skills, maybe a small writing task to check your grammar knowledge and if we have time a quick listening exercise. It’s essential for both yourself and for us to start you on the right level, otherwise you will struggle and that’s something neither of us wants hey?
Our Cambridge Exam preparation courses focus on exam techniques and strategies. Classes are designed around your needs and requirements. 👩🏻🏫
With careful attention and support from your experienced teacher you can choose to prioritise the areas you want to work on from speaking, grammar, listening, vocabulary, writing and reading. These are the skills required for A2, B1, B2, and C1.
One thing that you need to know, it CAN take time, there is a lot to learn.⏳ We’ve had students who have had a few weeks in which to take their exams. It’s not like falling off a log, there are some intricate rules and skills to learn to gain the useful and specific knowledge for the exam.

What we won’t do at Nika Teacher is throw you in at the deep end. Before you decide to take the exam, you take a mock exam, this way we know where your strengths are and more importantly your weaknesses, then we work on them to ensure you are more than confident to go. And we will show you everything, right down to how to complete the exam papers to exactly what will happen in the speaking part of the exam.🗣
“I speak really good English so I’m going to take the B2 exam”, that’s great and well done on your amazing English, but sometimes it’s easier to start from the beginning, the B1 exam and the practise you gain is essential groundwork to move up to B2 level. We can see the difference in students who have already passed their B1 exam and are starting to learn for B2 than those who haven’t. The same applies for C1, in C1 there is a lot of wonderful new vocabulary, idioms and phrasal verbs and there are some complicated grammar rules, so if you don’t have the basics, it will be difficult to learn, not impossible, and you can do it, it will just take more time.
We are happy for you!
There is no better feeling for us than a student who has passed their exam, it’s amazing, which is why we work hard to make sure you thrive and come out triumphant with that hard earned certificate in the bag!🙌🏻
If you are planning to take any of the Cambridge Exams, feel free to get in touch with any questions, we are always happy to help.
